Frequently Asked Questions
All booking enquiries can be made via email at accommodation@wartburgguesthouse.co.za or telephonically/ WhatsApp at 072 984 4346, after which a quote will be sent according to the enquiry. If the quote is accepted, then we will generate a tax invoice which must be paid in full before your arrival to secure your booking. We will not reserve your room if we have not received payment.
No, we do not. Each room is designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests per room. We will allow children under 2 years to share a bed with their parents or they are allowed to bring in a camping cot to be set up in the room. No extra mattresses for floor beds are allowed.
Yes, our rates include a breakfast. If breakfast is not required, please enquire to remove it from the rate and we will adapt our quote accordingly.
We provide a dinner service on request at an extra cost. All dinner orders should be communicated to management before 10:00 am on the day.
Unfortunately, our establishment does not allow any pets of any nature.
For golf and lunch/supper:
- The Noodsberg Golf Course & The Fat Fowl Restaurant is situated 18km from Wartburg.
- The Wartburger Hof Restaurant is open for lunch & supper and is situated in Wartburg.
- Bridglee Coffee Shop & The Bean Tree café at Wartburg Fuels Shell garage is a stones' throw away and situated opposite one another. They offer breakfast, lunch and fresh/frozen ready-meals.
For fishing, camping and game viewing:
- Albert Falls Dam & Nature Reserve is 15km away.
- The Ambleside Inn & Albert Falls Miniature Railway just down the road from there.
For the outdoor enthusiasts and adrenaline seekers:
- The Karkloof Country Club offers excellent MTB & Trail running routes and tasty breakfasts & lunches at the club, which is a 29km drive from Wartburg.
- A short distance further, you will locate the Karkloof Canopy Tours for an attraction not to be missed.
